Chaperones
We have caring, competent and compassionate people who are willing to accompany seniors and others, to doctor and dentist appointments, or to run errands of any nature. Our chaperones are available throughout Simcoe and Muskoka Counties and can accompany people to appointments as far away as London and Toronto. As will all of our staff, our chaperones are all certified in first aid and CPR and are sincerely motivated to be of service to our customers.
Recreational Companions
Our recreational companions are warmly enthusiastic, high-spirited, compassionate, and fun-loving individuals who enjoy accompanying seniors and other people who have accessibility needs to local events, the movies, for walks in the park, to family events, weddings, funerals, baseball games, and anywhere else you can think of. Our staff are committed to providing our customers with the undivided attention and assistance they require in order to fully participate, and enjoy, the activities they wish to engage in. If you can imagine it, we can provide the assistance you require in order to do it!
Recreational Planning
While we can accompany you to any event you plan and organize, we can also make arrangements for you. We can help purchase tickets, provide navigation and/or plan a time-table for your outing. We are able to set up daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly companion services for you or your loved-ones. We are prepared to develop recreational plans and activities for those individuals who are unable to make such plans for themselves. Whatever your needs are, whatever your recreational interests are, let us know so that we can be of assistance.
Our Services
While WE DON'T PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE, many of our staff do come from helping professions and have experience in providing assistance for all types of needs. Our companions can provide assistance with mobility issues (such as wheelchairs, or other walking aides); personal care and hygiene needs; guiding, organizing and entertaining those with developmental concerns. They can also drive your vehicle or a rental vehicle, help with navigation, prepare meals, tend to shopping and other duties as required. Please let us know what your needs are, we do have people that are happy to be of service to you and your loved-ones.
Our companions are able to accompany up to three people at a one time, provided the needs of the individuals can be reasonably and safely accommodated by only one person. This unique service can make the smallest day trip easier and more relaxing for you and a small group of friends. In addition to looking after your personal or mobility needs, we can take care of navigation and time management to ensure an easy and memorable experience.
Our Staff
We take the time to get to know our staff and offer recreational employment opportunities only to those individuals who have the emotional and physical energy available to give to our customers. All of our employees are trained in first aid and CPR*, have provided a recent police clearance and are thoroughly screened to ensure suitability and compatibility. They are provided with detailed information about the specifics of your needs and given the information they require in order to meet time schedules and provide navigation. We are always available to your companion and frequently make contact with them throughout your excursion in order to ensure a happy and safe journey.
Discretion
Our companions are trained to accompany you with the utmost discretion. We don't promote the fact that we are paid assistants, we are simply your companions, an extension of your family when your family can't be there.
